SoftWash vs Powerwashing

Standard pressure washing can cause damage to your siding and shingles from the high force of the water. All vinyl siding, for example, comes with a protective UV coating to guard against sunlight. Pressure washing strips away that protective coating which leaves the vinyl more exposed to the suns rays. The result is the colors begin to fade more quickly thereby reducing the lifespan of your investment.

What is the Green stuff

If you notice a green tint or dark stains on your home siding, this is likely due to the buildup of mold, mildew, moss, and algae on those outdoor surfaces. Hot, humid weather can make your house exterior more susceptible to bacteria growth, and flourish in winter conditions due to the often damp weather. Not only do these stains affect your home's curb appeal, but the mold can damage your home and carry some health risks.

House Washing has evolved over the years due to the drastic change in building materials and their compositions which is why SoftWashing was developed years ago. Although pressure washing has its place, in the wrong hands it can be very destructive and cause damage to several different surfaces. Vinyl siding, Hardie board, composite decking materials (azek/trex), and different types of natural wood require a much less invasive gentle cleaning technique. SoftWashing is the alternative to pressure washing. We use water based, biodegradable chemicals. They emulsify dirt and grime, break down bugs nests and webs as well as kill molds, mildew, algae and bacteria, sanitizing the surface we are cleaning. This cleaning process leaves the surface clean four to six times longer and will not erode the material being cleaned leaving no damage.
